Saying Goodbye

Jose has lived here for about two years, the last year in the house right behind us. He is twelve years old....just a few months older than Mary Emma. Over time, these kids have formed an amazing friendship. Being that he lives so close, they were together almost daily. Last week, Jose and his family moved back to California. This was so hard on my girls! There were a lot of tears during this long goodbye and his absence here is so pronounced.
He wanted the girls to play for him...there wasn't a dry eye in the house once Mary Emma started playing "Unchained Melody"
