Fantastic food!

We actually DID have seats, but spent little time in them.

Amtrak has GREAT coffee!

Boarded the Empire Builder at Chicago for the trip home. Videos here.

Very nice blog and photos. We actually rode the Capitol Limited yesterday from DC to Pittsburgh and loved it.

Amtrak shared your blog post on Facebook so I had to come see. We took the Empire Builder from Minnesota to Chicago, then the Capitol Limited from New York City to Williamsburg, Virginia at Christmas (with an unplanned detour north on the Lakeshore Limited due to a missed connection, lol, not funny at the time but turned out great spending Christmas Eve in Manhattan for a few hours...).

Your pics and the memories make me want to go again!
