Every year on Memorial Day, our local historical society hosts a cemetery walk in which volunteers portray historic residents of our community. This year, I portrayed Lou Ella Reith, an early teacher.

Along with Emma, who is actually Lou Ella's great- great- granddaughter.
Sadly, the weather was less than desirable.
But we still had fun!
And we made the front page of the paper.
