I co-facilitated an ELP(environmental learning program)class last week. It was for fourth and fifth graders to go on a four hour woods adventure. My first time driving a fifteen passenger vehicle, and it was ridiculously humid and hot outside....otherwise it was amazing! We parked on a side road and walked about a half mile down a road over 100 years old.
Here we are carrying our food, water, and wood for a fire.

Foil dinners cooked over the fire....everyone brought their own.

Apples for dessert

The gorgeous cabin in the woods.
