Wabasha MN Municipal Pool

Only twelve miles south of us, this, in my opinion, is the best pool around. It is only $2.00 for kids to get in, there is a playground right outside the pool, and the town has a Dairy Queen Brazier.

The girls love going down the slides.

Diving board!

Swimming

We took a break from school on Thursday to go swimming in Wabasha.
I had some time to play with my camera. Even though I have had it since November,
I'm still learning!

Using the telephoto lens, I was quite far away and they didn't realize I was taking photos.

Wabasha

We had so much fun in Wabasha last week, that we took Monday off school
to go again. Since there is open water just north of Reads Landing, eagles
are plentiful there.

A stop at the DQ
Love the Wabasha library...while not very large, it is divided into
two sections. This is the children's' section.

Papa called on Facetime while we were at the pool.

A visit from Sampson, who, by the way, is looking for a new
home. He also has seven pups available for re-homing....I LOVE him!
WISH WISH WISH we could have another dog, but we are so outnumbered already! Barley looked like a little pup next to him! He weighs 160 pounds!

Swimming!

In this frigid air, sometimes it is nice to take a break in the hot. Our overnight
temp dropped to -24 last night! We try to go swimming a couple times at month
at a local hotel that sells swim passes to the public. It is only open Mon-Thurs during
the day, so usually we have the place to ourselves.

Then we stop at DQ for a blizzard and fries!

The windows at Dairy Queen.
Dinner one night last week..seafood stuffed mushrooms with bordelaise.

Wabasha pool

We have been going to Wabasha pool for the last two weeks...it is only
$2.00 for children, has three water slides, and a park out front.
