It was cold and windy! A big change from 97 degrees three days earlier!

South Dakota Road Trip ~ Crazy Horse Monument and Laser Light Show

We drove by Crazy Horse Memorial a few times, as it was just a couple miles from our hotel on Route 16 and visible from the road.

                                          It cost $28.00 a carload for admission...worth every penny. The story of Korczak Ziolkowski and his family is astounding.

and toured the education center. This is a portrait of the sculptor, Korczak Ziolkowski.
