Celebration of Minnesota Children's Authors and Illustrators

This is the the tenth year of this event which is held at the Anderson Center in Red Wing. http://www.andersoncenter.org/eventAuthorsIllustrators.html

My girls love love love these stilts. We arrived early, and they were first in line. They walked around in stilts for over an hour.

Hanging on to the tree for the first few minutes while their brains and bodies "remember" how to walk in the stilts.

The goal of this is to create eighteen different colors using the
three primary colors.

Most kids were very scared of this guy...we do not have
television, nor do we eat at Mcdonalds....my children wonder how this
clown helps to sell fast food. Is the Hamburgler still around?

stilts

We waited in line 40 minutes for stilts, but it is their favorite
part of this event!
