Rollerskating at Belle Creek

Took my Girl Scouts rollerskating at Belle Creek on Saturday.

King Tut! Minnesota Science Museum

We have been waiting for this forever! The exhibit was amazing, and we were very prepared having studied Egypt for the last month. I only wish it had not been so crowded with school kids. Next time I will know to wait until late afternoon or early evening. It was a bit hard to enjoy with so many people in there! No photos allowed, but it was absolutely worth it!

Skiing at Hok-SI-La

In a few weeks we will have out tent set up here! This park is so gorgeous year round. This season is winding down. It was almost 40 degrees this day so the trails were not so good, but the vistas were amazing!

Red Wing

Everyone had dentist appointments in Red Wing Monday, so we decided to just make a day of it! After the dentist we went to the Best of Times bookstore, which is amazing, then to the library. Both girls checked out a stack. They love the teen area.
The self check-out is always fun!

They are taking turns scanning books.

Downtown Red Wing
A stop at the pawn shop is always fun

After lunch we visited the Humane Society. I was dismayed to find Ike, my dog Barley's brother there. He had been surrendered two months previous. Poor poor boy! Wish I could take him.

We took him and another dog for a walk.

Isn't he GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!! He looks just like Barley except for his black nose and one blue eye.
