Biking

Lake City is biker friendly for the most part! We have this five mile loop we have been doing a few times a week.
Of course we get side tracked easily.

Busy Week!

We did very little school this week! My uncle visited from Washington State, the girls tutored a first grader, we did a bit of day care, went shopping during the 100 mile garage sale, took the dog to the vet in a neighboring town that took half of one day, we volunteered for ELP by folding and inserting over 800 programs, and we volunteered at the library book sale for three hours on Friday. On the good side, we scored tons of great educational books and games at the garage sales, got first pick and a discount for the ELP programs, and got loads of books at the library sale! I guess there is always next week, right?

Canadian Tenors

The Canadian Tenors performed Saturday evening at Treasure Island Resort and Casino. My husband, mom, aunt, and I attended. It was a nice intimate venue with seating for 2800.

They were AMAZING!!!!!

Wish I had some better photos, but I left my SLR at home. Their encore performance was "Alleluia," my favorite! We have collectively decided that if they perform anywhere around here again, we will be there. Looking forward to their new CD.
