Amtrak National Train Day

 We visited the newly refurbished Union Station in St Paul for National Train Day.

                          Driving into the city, the station is visible beneath the bridge.

Beautiful!

Simply beautiful!

There were three Amtrak carriages available for touring

And quite a crowd to greet the Empire Builder #8 stopping at Union Depot on it's way to Chicago. Amtrak just started stopping here last week after 43 years of no passenger trains stopping here.

Although we have ridden before, we still LOVED the tour!
