After we visited Harper's Ferry, We went up to Bolivar Heights Battlefield
The battle of Harper's Ferry was fought on this site from Sept 12-15 1862.
It is known for the largest surrender of Federal forces during the Civil War.
From parts of this battlefield, three states are visible....Virginia,
West Virginia, and Maryland.
