BLIZZARD
The end result of 20 inches of snow....there is actually another garbage can buried on the other side of the garage.

There was so much snow that the snow plow threw snow all the way to the sidewalk.

looking out in wonder!

Humane Society Benefit
Russ and the girls joined other local musicians performed at a benefit for the Humane Society. Margaret and Russ composed their own pieces, Marge on piano, Russ on guitar, and Mary Emeline played a piano piece she switched up a bit...she was accompanied by her dad on guitar. It was pretty amazing to watch their magic....they were the only people who had their own compositions and no music sheets....also the only children to play an instrument. I was too nervous to take photos, so the three below I took while they were practicing. This is the first time Russ has performed with his children...looking forward to more!

School, salad, and Sparky
The girls LOVE this salad...chicken salad with grapes and pineapple served over romaine with baked tortilla strips and strawberry garnish crowned with aged balsamic vinegar....

Mary Emma does not participate in band at the school any more, but she still plays the clarinet and sax on her own at home.

Playing piano for friends
Billie goes to our church, and is also active in the library. Her Mother, Margaret, lives close to us. The girls went over to play some Christmas carols for them.

Margaret used to play piano also, and played a song for us!
