Polar Plunge

"Winterfest" weekend is highlighted by the polar plunge on Sunday afternoon. We got there early this year so we could be in the front row.
Some of the brave plungers. Some jumped for fun and some to raise money.
One lady had it on her bucket list, and one brave soul was from Florida.
One gentleman was from New Hampshire and jumped in polar plunges
all over the U.S.

These belly flops got some applause!

These snow shelters were built on the ice by local Boy Scouts who

spent the night in them. The leader stayed in the tent.
